3、tospecialbridgeclimbingclothes.Thentheclindingorganizersshowedushowtousethesafetybeltsandclimbthesteepladders.Wewereevergivenlittlepersonalradiostoreceiveinstructionsfromourguideduringtheclimb!Oueexpectationsbegantobuildandourgroupbecameexcited.Onehourlater,wewerereadytogo!Wefirstcrossedsomecatwalks
4、belowtheroadpartofthebridge.IwasgladIwasntafraidofheights.1.ookingdownthroughthecatwalkIcouldseetheground50metres(164feet)below!Nextweclimbtheladdersleadingup,up.uptothebridgesarch.Carsspedbyontheroadbelow.Thewindblewmorefiercelythehigherweclimbed.Moreandmoreofthecityslowlycameintoview.Soonwewereapp
5、roachingtheverytopofthebridge!Whatasceneitwasatthetop!Clear.bird,seyesviewsofthecityextendedinalldirections.1.ookingsouthwesawthecityskyline.thefamousOperaHouseandtheocean.ltwasjustlikelookingatapostcard,exceptthatwewerereallypartofthepicture!Everyonefeltproudofhavingreachedthisspotinthecity.Noonewasreadytoleavewhenitwastimetogodown.ThetwohoursWehadspentonthebridgeseemedtopassedinaninstant.ButthememoryofhavingseensuchauniquescenewillstaywithUSforalifetime.
