3、teVERICUTAccessVERICUTonaWindowscomputer一FromtheTaskbar,clickStartProgramsCGTechVERICUT5.xVERICUT5.xwhere,5.xisthedesiredVERICUTversionnumber.Withdefaultsettings,VERICUTautomaticallyloadsthez,vericut.USUserfilefromtheCGTeChLibrary-a4-axisMazakmachineandjobsetup.可IfVERICUThasbeenstartedbutdoesnothave

4、thedefaultUserfileloaded,exitVERICUT,thenexecuteVERICUTagain.Thisshouldrestorethedefaultsettingsrequiredtoperformthissamplesession.Continuewithstep#2below,evenifthedefaultUserfiledidnotloadasexpected.However,reportthisfacttotheinstructorforfutureconsideration.2. DisplaytheStatuswindowtomonitorthemac

5、hiningoperationIntheVERICUTmenubar,selectInfoStatusTheStatuswindowprovidesinformationaboutthecurrenttoolpathrecordbeingprocessedmachiningconditions.Thiswindowcanbeleftopenforconstantmonitoring,orusetheClosebuttontodismissit.Youcanre-openandclosethiswindowatanytime.3. SetVERICUTtostopprocessingatthee

6、ndofeachfile IntheVERICUTmenubar,selectSetupMotion IntheMotionwindow,StopAt=EndofeachFile OKS-IIicon -4. CuttheVERICUTstockmodelIntheVERICUTmainwindow,pressthePlaytoEndamillingtoolpathissimulatedInthisexample,thefollowingerrorscanbeseen:ThecuthighlightedwiththeredErrorcolorindicatesmaterialwasremove

7、dfromthefixture.Ifleftasis,thiscouldresultinabrokentoolordamagedfixture.Thereisalsosomeredmarkswhereatoolholdertouchedthepart.TheStatuswindowErrorsfieldrevealsthatVERICUTdetected9errorsduringthistoolpathprocessing.VERICUTuseshighresolutiongraphicsandcolorshadingtoprovideexcellentViSibiIityofthemachi

8、ningprocess,andahighqualityimageofthemachinedpart.ThemodelinVERICUTrepresentshowthemachinedpartwouldlook,ifactuallycutbytheNCmachinetool.5. Reviewtheerrorsinthetoolpathfile IntheVERICUTmenubar,selectAnalysisToolpathReviewtodisplaytheToolpathReviewwindow. IntheToolpathreviewwindow,selectthefirsterror

9、intheErrorcolumnNoticethatthetoolispositionedatthelocationwheretheerroroccurred.Thecutterbodyremovedsomematerialwhilerampinginthepocket.Thiscutterdoesnotcutinitscenter.Becausetheredmarkismachinedafterward,withoutthereview,thiserrorcouldhavebeenmissed.Thereisalsoanerrorwherethelightcomponentcollidedw

10、iththezzRotaryTablez,component.ThiserrorcomesfromtheMachineSimulationview.Themachinecollisionscanhaveverydangerousrepercussions. Whenfinishedreviewingtheerrors,selectFileClosetodismisstheToolpathReviewwindow.6. CutthesecondoperationPress the Play to End -l Iicon - The part is fl ipped and a new fixt

11、ure is loadedyInthisexample,thefollowingerrorscanbeseen:ThecuthighlightedwiththeredErrorcolorindicatesmaterialwasremovedfromthefixture.Ifleftasis,thiscouldresultinabrokentoolordamagedfixture.TheStatuswindowErrorsfieldrevealsthatVERICUTdetected2errorsduringthistoolpathprocessing.VERICUTuseshighresolu

12、tiongraphicsandcolorshadingtoprovideexcellentvisibilityofthemachiningprocess,andahighqualityimageofthemachinedpart.ThemodelinVERICUTrepresentshowthemachinedpartwouldlook,ifactuallycutbytheNCmachinetool.7. Reviewtheerrorsinthetoolpathfile SelectAnalysisToolpathReviewtodisplaytheToolpathReviewwindowan

13、dreviewtheerrorsinthesecondtoolpath. Whenfinishedreviewingtheerrors,selectFileClosetodismisstheToolpathReviewwindow.ALogfileisautomaticallycreatedbyVERICUTwhichidentifiesanyerrorsthatoccurredduringthesimulation.Whenerrorsaredetected,theVERICUTLogfileinformationidentifiestheexactdatablockwhichcausedt

14、heerror,aswellasthelinenumberoftheblockinthetoolpathfile.TheVERICUTLogfilecontainsothervaluableinformation,suchas:whenandwhattoolpathfile(s)wereprocessed,simulatedmachiningtimes,andmore.TheLogfilecanbeviewedviatheInfomenu,asdemonstratedbythenextstep.8. PickintheFromfield(itwillhighlightyellow) IntheMachine/CutStockview,pickthemiddleofthebackedgeonthetopofthestockblock,asshownin

23、thepicturebelow.NoticethatthecoordinatesoftheselectedpositionisautomaticallyaddedtotheFromfield. PickintheTofield(itwillhighlightyellow) IntheMachine/CutStockview,pickthemiddleofthefrontedgeonthetopoftheangleplate,asshowninthepicturebelow. OntheTranslatetab,selectMove.Theblockshouldbepositionedonthe

24、angleplateasshowninthepicturebelow.Ifyourblockisnotpositionedasshown,pickUndointheModelingwindowandtryagain. Whenyourblockispositionedcorrectly,pickOKtoacceptthechangesanddismissthemodelingwindow. IntheVERICUTmainmenu,selectViewOrient. SelectFitAll. ThenClose.3. Loadnewprogramfiletosimulate IntheVER

25、ICUTmainmenu,selectSetupToolpath. IntheToolpathwindow,picktheexistingtoolpathsothatitbecomeshigh!ighted. SelectReplace. MakesurethatShortcutissettoCGTECH_SAMPLES. Selectthefilenamed,mcd2setup.med,thenOK.Ifyoudonotfindmcd2setup.med,inthefilelist,makesurethatFilteratthebottomofthewindowissetto.mcd.Int

LocatetoolpathorigintothestockforpropercuttingIntheVERICUTmainmenu,selectSetupG-CodeSettingszTablestabSelectandDeleteallexistingtablesAdd/ModifyTableName=ProgramZeroSelectFrom/ToLocationsIntheFromrow,Name=ToolIntheTorow,Name=StockSele
