6、rtsofItaly,GreeceandEgypt.There,hesawtheancientGreekandRomanruinsthatalsowouldinfluencehisworks.Hewasveryaffectedbythesizeanddesignoftheseruins.Theyhelpedinfluencehimtodevelopanarchitecturethatcombinesbothmodernandancientdesigns.OtherexpertsbelieveKahnwasalsoinfluencedbythepartofPhiladelphiawhereheg

16、likebuildingshavewindowsintheshapeofcirclesandtriangles.Thestructureissurroundedbywater.Fromadistance,itappearstofloatonalake.Kahnspentthelasttwelveyearsofhislifeontheproject.Itwascompletedinnineteeneighty-threeznineyearsafterhisdeath.BecauseofKahn,expertssay,oneofthepoorestcountriesintheworldhasone
